Kalamazoo, MI- The Kalamazoo Wings, proud member of the International Hockey League, announce that tickets for its entire 2007-2008 home schedule, including its lone preseason contest, will go on sale to the public Saturday, October 6th at 10 a.m. at the Wings Stadium Ticket Office and all Ticketmaster locations.

Celebrating the unofficial start of hockey season, the K-Wings will be welcoming fans on October 6th with a live radio remote hosted by WZUU 92.5 FM from 10 a.m.-noon. Kalamazoo's favorite mascot, Slappy and the K-Wings Puck Shoot Booth will also be part of the festivities.

Enticing fans to see the new IHL on opening night, the K-Wings are offering a ticket special on October 6th. Any fan that purchases tickets to the 4th Annual Orange Ice Game on October 27th, will receive a FREE ticket to see the K-Wings lone preseason contest against the Fort Wayne Komets on Friday, October 12th. This offer is only valid on Saturday, October 6th.

The first chance that fans will get to see the K-Wings at home will be on Friday, October 12th at 7:30 p.m. as the K-Wings host the Fort Wayne Komets in the first half of a home and home series. The game against the Komets will be the second of three preseason tilts for the K-Wings. Preseason tickets for the game on Friday, October 12th will be $5.

Single-game tickets for any of the K-Wings 38 regular season home games tickets will also be available on Saturday, October 6th. Kalamazoo opens its home schedule on October 27th at 7:30 p.m. during the 4th Annual Orange Ice Game against the Muskegon Fury.

Other marquee nights on the K-Wings schedule include the 6th Annual New Year's Eve Bash presented by COOL 101 FM and WWMT TV3, as the K-Wings host the Fury and the 8th Annual Borgess Health Pink Ice Game on February 14th versus the Flint Generals.

One of the most historic traditions in hockey will continue Monday, March 17th, as the K-Wings host the Fort Wayne Komets in the 27th Annual Fifth-Third Bank "World Famous"

Tickets for all K-Wings home games range in price from $9-$14 for adults and only $6 for kids ages 12 and under. Fans can purchase individual game tickets at the Wings Stadium Ticket Office or at any Ticketmaster outlet. The price for all K-Wings premium night games (all colored ice and New Year's Eve game) will be increased by $1.

All tickets that are purchased for any K-Wings game (including the pre-season) on game-day will be increased by $1 per ticket.

Season tickets for the upcoming 2007-2008 season are still on sale at the Wings Stadium Ticket Office.
