Newark Bears News Release
(Newark, N.J., Sept. 3. 2010) - When the Bears return home on Tuesday, September 7 to begin the final homestand of the 2010 season, fans will have an even better chance to see their hometown team. Throughout the homestand, the Bears will be hosting ticket amnesty nights, where any unused ticket will get you into Bears & Eagles Riverfront Stadium.
Do you have some unused tickets sitting around? Maybe some games from your season tickets that you didn't come to or some people from your group that didn't end up showing up? Well here's your chance to put those unused tickets to use!
To make the deal even sweeter, the Bears will even honor anyone else's unused 2010 tickets, too! From the Nets and Devils to the Somerset Patriots and even the New Jersey Jackals, no unused 2010 pro or college sports ticket will be turned away! Got old NJPAC tickets or Broadway stubs, bring'em down as well.
All unused tickets can be exchanged for premium box seat tickets beginning on Tuesday as Newark welcomes the Southern Maryland Blue Crabs for a doubleheader. First pitch of game one is set for 5:05 p.m., with the gates of Bears & Eagles Riverfront Stadium opening at 4:05 p.m. Game two will begin about 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one. The ticket amnesty promotion good throughout the entire homestand so come out to the ballpark and cheer on your Bears.
