Hamilton Tiger-Cats News Release
Hamilton, Ontario - The Hamilton Tiger-Cats announced today that the team has signed non-import offensive lineman Peter Dyakowski to a new contract that will keep him in Hamilton through 2012.
"Peter is a talented, young Canadian offensive lineman who has the potential to be dominant," said General Manager Bob O'Billovich.
"He's a big part of our offensive line, a great character guy as well as a solid contributor to our team and this community."
Dyakowski, a 6-5, 294-pound native of Vancouver, British Columbia has played 48 games for the Ticats since being selected in the second round (11th overall) of the 2006 CFL Canadian Draft.
Prior to joining the Ticats, Dyakowski played four years (2003-06) at LSU.
He was slated to become a free agent on February 16.
