ThunderBolts to Broadcast All Home Games

LAKELAND- The Lakeland ThunderBolts announced today that Mark Stevens of "Mayhem in the A.M." TALK 1430 WLKF", has signed on the be the voice of the Lakeland ThunderBolts. The ThunderBolts home games will be broadcast live on WLKF 1430 AM.

Stevens has been waking up the city of Lakeland for the past three and half years on the very popular "Mayhem in the A.M." morning show on TALK 1430 WLKF. Stevens along with Brian Bruchey, and Erica Smith host Mayhem in the A.M., Stevens has had the opportunity to interview some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry, from George Forman to Regis Philin. Originally from Washington D.C, Stevens grew up on Lakeland, but has spent time in Minnesota, Chicago, New York, and Orlando. Stevens came back to Lakeland and had made it his home.

"It's not very often that you find something you truly love and get to do it for a living," stated Stevens about the radio business. "I am truly excited and honored to be a part of such a great organization as the Lakeland ThunderBolts; it's going to be a great season and a great 2006. I look forward to bringing the games to the city of Lakeland, this is a new realm of broadcasting for me and I can not wait for the season to kick off. Go ThunderBolts!!"

All home games will be broadcast live on WLKF 1430 AM. Season kicks off March 11 against the West Palm Beach Phantoms. Home games are played at the Lakeland Center at 7pm.
