The RiverCity Rage is pleased to announce the partnering with WGNU Radio 920 AM and Maggie O'Brien's to bring the "In the Red Zone" radio show to the St. Louis airways. The weekly radio show will be hosted each Wednesday evening from 7 to 8 PM from the studios of WGNU by Rage Media Relations Director, Mike Thompson teamed with Rage Head Football Coach and General Manager Mike Wyatt.
"We are excited about this new partnership and want to get our message out to the fans of RiverCity Rage football." stated Mike Thompson, Rage Media Relations Director and co-host of the program. "With Coach Wyatt's extensive background and the excitement that is Rage football, we are certain to be both entertaining and informative." added Thompson.
Mike Thompson has been a longtime air personality in the St. Louis market and also serves as the radio voice of the RiverCity Rage. His co-host Mike Wyatt has served as head football coach and general manager for the Rage for the past two seasons, leading the team that had managed only 4 victories in the season prior to his arrival to back to back playoff appearances. He picked up back to back Atlantic Conference Coach of the Year honors for his efforts and this past season was also named as General Manager of the Year.
"This will give our fans a chance to know a little bit more about Coach Wyatt and to get his insights into indoor football." Thompson noted.
