Marshals Round Out Coaching Staff

Cincinnati, OH - Cincinnati fans will recognize a couple of the faces on the Cincinnati Marshals coaching staff.
New head coach Steve Carpenter has dipped into the talent of the Cincinnati area in rounding out his coaching staff as the Marshals prepare for their second season in the National Indoor Football League under new ownership.
Former Cincinnati Bengal running back Ickey Woods joins the staff as the running back coach while former Cincinnati prep and Marshall University standout Mike Beasley joins the staff as an assistant coach.
In addition to Woods and Beasley, Carpenter has announced that Brian Wells will join the team as associate head coach, special teams coach and defensive backs coach while Brad Donathon will be the defensive coordinator and linebacker coach.
Other members of the coaching staff include Alton Burrage as the defensive line coach, Mike Harlow as the wide receivers coach, Ryan Hortman as the offensive line coach, Doug Carlburg as the linebacker and line coach, Tim Taylor as an assistant line coach on offense and defense, Greg Bailey as an assistant offense coach, Greg Lutz as an assistant on the defensive side of the ball and Brian Barrett as an assistant special teams coach.
The Marshals open the season March 18 at Hammond and kickoff their home schedule on April 1 against the Twin City Gators at 7:30 p.m. at the U.S. Bank Arena.
