EVANSVILLE, IN - Evansville made a trade with Pensacola on Wednesday to acquire forward Austin Mckay and Defenseman Stephen Gallo. Evansville sent forward Josh Harris and forward/defenseman Brad Bourke in exchange. The trade also included the closing of the futures Evansville owed in the Brandon Lubin deal earlier in the season (12/15/2016). Harris and Bourke were the Thunderbolts' second and third highest point producers on the season.

Austin McKay (Forward) - Austin has played in 26 SPHL games this season. He has five goals and 14 assists. McKay is 6-foot-5, 220-pounds and a native of Toronto, Ontario. He has had one call up this season to Atlanta (ECHL). He played four years of collegiate hockey with Lake Superior State University. He was the team captain his senior season. He started his professional career at the end of last season when he logged two games with Brampton (ECHL).

Stephen Gallo (Defenseman) - Gallo is in his second professional year. He has played for three SPHL teams this season (Huntsville, Knoxville, and Pensacola). Stephen participated in the Thunderbolts' preseason camp. Gallo is 6-foot-1, 205 pounds. He has four assists and a +2 rating for the season.

In the Crosshairs

Evansville's two games this week are on Ford Center ice. Friday, Evansville hosts Huntsville. The season series favors the Havoc two games to one. The last game between the two teams was a 4-3 Thunderbolt victory. Evansville scored four goals in the third period while Tanner Milliron stopped 32 shots. Sy Nutkevitch leads Huntsville in scoring with 32 points. Lou Educate leads them in goals with 17. Both totals are tops in the SPHL.

Saturday night the Peoria Rivermen return after defeating the Thunderbolts 6-4 to end last week. Cody Dion is the Rivermen to watch. He leads the team in goals (13) and points (23). He is second on the team with 45 PIMs.

John Scorcia has six goals and six assists in 12 games this season.Mike Doan has stopped 46 of 49 shots in his last two games (.939 Save Percentage).Tommy Fiorentino has six assists in the last five games.
