Evansville Thunderbolts News Release

Evansville, Ind: The Thunderbolts have only a single game to focus on this upcoming weekend - a Friday night match up with the Peoria Rivermen at Carver Arena. Solidly in sixth place, the Thunderbolts aim to strengthen their chances of clinching a playoff spot, with the postseason just over a month away now.

Week In Review:

The Bolts were home for two games this past weekend, taking on the Macon Mayhem on Friday and the Rivermen on Saturday. Evansville would earn a point against Macon, behind a solid performance by Ryan de Melo and goals by Shayne Morrissey and Dylan Clarke. The next night against Peoria would be a close contest, and although the Bolts fell 3-2, it was one of the best games yet for Evansville against the Rivermen. De Melo turned in another strong performance in net and goals would be picked up by Mark Petaccio and Nick Lazorko.

The Week Ahead:

The contest in Peoria on Friday will be the only action for the Thunderbolts this weekend. Face-off at Carver Arena will be at 7:15 p.m. CST. Friday's game can be viewed online through SPHL Live and you can listen in for free on the Thunderbolts Radio Network on MixLr.
