
Thunderbirds Sign Jeremy Winston to Three-Year Contract

HALIFAX, NS - The Halifax Thunderbirds today announced that the team has signed defender Jeremy Winston to a three-year contract.
"This has been a long-awaited opportunity for me. I am eager to start learning, competing and, making a difference with the best of the best around the world," Winston said.
Winston joins the Thunderbirds after being selected by the organization in the fifth round (74th overall) of the 2020 NLL Draft.
A Dallas, Texas product, Winston spent his entire collegiate career at Jacksonville, serving as a captain for the Dolphins during his graduate season in 2022.
Appearing in 13 games during that year, the midfielder finished with 16 goals and 17 points along with 12 loose balls.
Across five years, Winston played in 63 games (starting 31), scoring 74 goals and 25 assists for 99 points along with 50 loose balls and four caused turnovers.
