Thunder tickets on sale Monday

(Trenton, NJ) - The Trenton Thunder, the Double-A Affiliate of the New York Yankees, want to remind fans that Individual Game Ticket orders for the 2007 season will begin over the phone, 609-394-3300, through the Thunder website, www.trentonthunder.com, and in person at Waterfront Park THIS MONDAY, January 29 at 9:30 AM.

"It really starts to feel like baseball season when fans can start picking the games that they want to attend," said Thunder General Manager Brad Taylor. "We are two months away from the start of our season and what should be the best year ever for Thunder baseball at Waterfront Park."

The 2007 Thunder season kicks off Thursday, April 5 against the Bowie Baysox (Baltimore Orioles) at 7:05 PM.

Mini Ticket Packages, which range from five to 18 games, Full and Half Season Tickets, Pic-A-Plans (choose your own 10 or more games) and Group Outings are all on sale now.

Some of the highlights on the 2007 schedule include 21 fireworks shows, including Opening Night and July 4th and 5th, the very popular "Baseball Bingo", which fans can play during Monday, Wednesday and Saturday home games, seven "Bobblehead" giveaway nights including Yankee Top Prospect Phil Hughes (April 11) and Yankee star Hideki Matsui in a Thunder uniform (April 25) and a week of "Celebrate Sanchez" giveaways that commemorate former Thunder star Freddy Sanchez's winning of the 2006 National League Batting Title.
