Thunder Partners with Grasshopper Mowers to Present Kid's Captain

Wichita, KS - The Wichita Thunder, ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Edmonton Oilers, AHL's Bakersfield Condors and powered by Toyota, are excited to announce a partnership with Grasshopper Mowers to be the presenting sponsor of the new Kid's Captain during all 36 games this season.

During each home game this season, one local youth hockey player will get a chance to become a pro and participate in our player introduction, presented by Grasshopper Mowers. Fans will have a chance to submit their child on the Wichita Thunder website and one lucky hockey player will be chosen.

"We're excited to give boys and girls the chance to experience professional sports up-close," said Trent Guyer, VP of Marketing for Grasshopper Mowers. "We're thankful to have a successful professional sports team. We're honored to help build excitement for the Thunder and the Wichita-area for the next generation."
