Thunder, Defenders Rained Out On Sunday

Trenton Thunder News Release
(Norwich, CT)- Sunday's scheduled game between the Trenton Thunder and the Connecticut Defenders has been postponed due to rain. No date has been announced yet for the game to be made up.
Trenton (8-1) won all three games played against the Defenders, shutting out Connecticut by a 5-0 cumulative score. The Thunder have tossed four consecutive shutouts and haven't allowed a run to an opposing team in the the last 46.0 straight innings.
Jason Jones (0-0, 2.45) was scheduled to start today's game, but he will be pushed back and be scheduled to start on Monday in Portland against the Red Sox affiliate.
The three-game series with the Sea Dogs at Hadlock Field is slated to begin at 4:00 PM on Monday. RHP Clay Buchholz (0-1, 5.59) is scheduled to start for Portland.
