
Thunder Closes Road Trip against Mallards

Moline, IL (Nov. 24th) - Wichita concludes its two-game road swing tonight with a visit to the Taxslayer Center against Quad City.
The Thunder are coming off an overtime loss to Kansas City this past Wednesday while the Mallards have been off since last Sunday. Tonight is the first meeting of the season between the two teams and the start of a three-in-three for Wichita.
Mark MacMillan leads the Thunder with 15 points (8g, 7a) and Lane Bauer is right behind him with 12 (5g, 7a). The Mallards are led by Sam Warning, who has 10 goals and 13 points.
Wichita currently leads the Mountain Division with 24 points, two ahead of Colorado and Allen, who both have 22 points. Quad City is tied for fifth place in the Central Division with 12 points. The Thunder are 5-0-2-0 against the Central Division and the Mallards are 3-1-0-0 against the Mountain Division.
The Thunder returns home tomorrow night to host Quad City for the first time this season starting at 7:05 p.m. Saturday night is Marvel Super Hero Night featuring Thor. The team will be wearing special Avengers-themed jerseys that will be auctioned online with the MeiGray Group. Dress up as your favorite super hero for a chance to win some cool prizes!
