Thunder announce exhibition schedule

Lincoln Thunder News Release


Lincoln, NE. The ABA Lincoln Thunder professional basketball team has scheduled four exhibition games leading up to their home opener on November 18th. The Thunder plays Bellevue University Alumni players Friday, October 21st at the Gordon Lozier Athletic Center in Bellevue, Nebraska. On Saturday, the team will take on the University of Nebraska-Omaha Alumni at 705pm at the Fitness Center on the campus of College of Saint Mary in Omaha, Nebraska. Friday, October 28th, the Thunder will play Creighton Alumni at 705pm at College of Saint Mary. All Games will be free of charge. On October 30th, the team will host Livin-the-Dream (www.livin-the-dream) a traveling professional basketball squad in a Halloween extravaganza. Admission is $10 for adults and kids 12 and under are free. Kids of all ages are encouraged to wear their costumes for a halftime costume contest. Following the game, kids can meet their favorite player and receive autographs as well as candy.

The Thunder will be at Calvert Rec Center on Saturday, October 29th from 830-10am for the Lincoln Park Rec Kids Camp. For information, call Jay at 441 8270. The Thunder will also take part in this year's "Boo at the Zoo" at Folsom Children's Zoo on Saturday, October 29th from 530-730pm. Players and coaches will be on hand to meet and greet the kids as well as sign autographs and hand out candy.
