Lincoln Thunder looking for interns

Lincoln, NE. J & J Sports and Entertainment Group, Inc., the owners of the ABA Lincoln Thunder professional basketball team, is seeking qualified applicants to fill internship positions with the team in Lincoln NE, Omaha NE and Sioux City, IA. The internships are available in sports marketing, sales, sports management/administration, sports promotion and mass communications. According to Michael Jefferson, "This is a great opportunity for young people to learn the business of professional sports from the inside and to earn good money too."
Requirements include coursework towards a degree in sports administration or related field and excellent organizational and communication skills. Qualified candidates from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Nebraska Wesleyan University, Wayne State University, University of Nebraska-Omaha, Creighton UIniversity, Iowa Western Community College, Briar Cliff University, Morningside College, U of Nebraska, and other area institutions are strongly encouraged to apply.
