DareDevils announce intersquad game

October 21, 2005 - American Basketball Association (ABA)
Niagara Daredevils News Release

St.Catharines, Ontario - October 21, 2005 The Niagara DareDevils announced today plans for an intersquad game on October 22nd, 2005. The game will be held at Glengate Community Church in Niagara Falls Ontario at 1pm.

The game will be open to the public with free admission, and allow fans in the Niagara Region to see first hand the type of basketball coming to the Niagara Region this November.

The game will also give fans the chance to see some of the rule variations that differ from the NBA to the ABA. One of those rules is the very popular 3D Rule which rewards teams who pressure the ball in the backcourt and create turnovers. The rule has been known around basketball circuits to create more uptempo, exciting brand of basketball.

Note: OurSports Central no longer actively covers the American Basketball Association (ABA) as a professional league due in part to its inability to publish and play a schedule and the transitory nature of many of its teams.
