SAINT JOHN, NB --- The National Hockey League's Central Scouting Bureau unveiled its final rankings for the 2010 NHL Entry Draft today, with Saint John Sea Dogs winger Stanislav Galiev coming in at #20 on the list evaluating North American skaters. Sophomore forwards Stephen MacAulay (#85) and Danick Gauthier (#147) were also ranked amongst the top draft-eligible players on the continent.

Galiev earned a spot on the QMJHL's All-Rookie Team this year after registering 67GP-15G-45A-60P during his first season in Saint John. MacAulay (56GP-8G-13A-21P) and Gauthier (66GP-13G-9A-22P) also racked up solid numbers for the regular season champion Sea Dogs in 2009-10.

Thus far in the 2010 President's Cup Playoffs, Galiev has recorded 5G-6A-11P in eight games played, tying the Russian-born playmaker for third on the team in post-season scoring. Currently in possession of a 3-0 lead in their best-of-seven quarter-final series with the Gatineau Olympiques, the Sea Dogs can earn a berth in the QMJHL's Final Four with a win at the Robert Guertin Arena later tonight (puck drop - 8:30pm).

In the event that Saint John does eliminate Gatineau from President's Cup contention this evening, tickets to Games 1 & 2 of the Sea Dogs' semi-final series versus a to-be-determined opponent will go on sale tomorrow morning at 10am at the Harbour Station Box Office (506-657-1234 or www.tickets.harbourstation.ca). This as-yet-hypothetical series would get underway on Friday, April 16 at 7:30pm in Saint John. Game 2 would take place on Sunday, April 18, also at Harbour Station.
