Muskegon Lumberjacks News Release
Muskegon, Mich. - Muskegon Lumberjacks forwards Ryan Misiak, Matt Berry and defenseman Alexx Privitera were all named CCM Eastern Conference All-Stars by the United States Hockey League Friday afternoon.
Misiak, a Shelby Township, Mich., native, has enjoyed a breakout campaign with the Jacks. He's set personal career highs in goals (13), assists (36) and points (49). His point haul is second among USHL skaters, as is his assist total. He's currently on a team-best six game point streak and has 16 multi-point games on the season.
Misiak's bookend Berry, a Canton, Mich., native, is sixth in the league with 20 goals, which lead the Jacks. Berry also has 21 assists and six game-winning goals in his rookie season. His 41 points are eighth overall in the league.
Privitera, an Old Tappan, N.J., native, is tied for second among the league's defensemen with 26 points, and his nine goals are second in the league. He's posted six multi-point games this season.
A total of 44 players - 22 from the Eastern and 22 from the Western - were chosen based on a vote by USHL coaches and general managers. The CCM All-Star rosters for each conference are made up of 13 forwards, seven defensemen, and two goaltenders.
"The USHL's CCM All-Star Awards represent one of the most prestigious midseason honors a junior-age player in North America can receive," said USHL Commissioner Skip Prince. "These rising stars exemplify what's special about the USHL and USA Hockey's development model. They're the best, representing the best, and this office and CCM are proud to salute them."
