San Jose CyberRays News Release

SAN JOSE (July 1, 2003) – Three CyberRays have been called to train for the U.S. Women's National Team's match against Brazil on July 13 in New Orleans.

Goalkeeper LaKeysia Beene and defenders Thori Bryan and Brandi Chastain are among 25 players called to camp next week by U.S. coach April Heinrichs, who will select 18 to the roster that faces Brazil in Tad Gormley Stadium.

The match is the last last tune-up for this fall's FIFA Women's World Cup before Heinrichs announces the roster that will represent the United States in the world championship tournament opening Sept. 20.

In addition, the CyberRays expect that forwards Katia and Pretinha and midfielder Sissi will be called up to play for Brazil.

The CyberRays have a World Cup Information Center on their website with full details about the tournament, schedules, stadiums and tickets at http://www.sjcyberrays.com/wcinfo.html.
