Three Blizzard Players Selected To All-IFL Squads

Green Bay, WI - KR B.J Hill, DB Elijah Fields and WR Ryan Balentine have been named to the IFL's All-IFL teams for their contributions during the 2013 season. B.J Hill was named to the First team All-IFL squad as a Kick Returner. DB Elijah Fields and WR Ryan Balentine were named to the Second Team All-IFL squad at their respective positions.

The 2011 IFL Special Teams Player of the Year, B.J Hill, makes his fifth appearance on an All-IFL team (Second Team KR 2012, Second Team DB 2012, First Team KR 2011, Second Team KR 2010). Hill finished the season leading the IFL in kickoff return yards with 1041, the highest single season total of his career. His 1041 kickoff return yards gives Hill 3,412 for his career which is a new IFL career record. In addition, Hill returned two kickoffs for touchdowns to bring his career total to an IFL record 13. Hill finished the season second in the IFL in all-purpose yards with 1581.

B.J Hill was named Week 14 IFL Special Team Player of the Week earlier this season.

DB Elijah Fields was named to the IFL Second Team All-IFL squad at defensive back after he tied for the team lead in tackles with 88. In his first season as a member of the Blizzard, Fields made 88 tackles, two interceptions, two forced fumbles and six pass breakups. Fields was named IFL Defensive Player of the Week in Week 11.

WR Ryan Balentine was named to the IFL Second Team All-IFL squad at Wide Receiver after catching 74 passes for 834 yards and 12 touchdowns. Balentine finished third in the IFL in receptions and receiving yards as a rookie. Balentine had his biggest game in week ten as the Blizzard faced off against the Tri-Cities Fever where he caught 10 passes for 170 yards and three touchdowns.He was named IFL Co-Offensive Player of the Week following his performance.
