Thorns FC to Host Thorns Spring Invitational Presented by Tillamook March 29-April 4 at Providence Park

PORTLAND, Ore. - Portland Thorns FC today announced details for the Thorns Spring Invitational, presented by Tillamook, at Providence Park. Spanning March 29-April 4, the fifth-annual, four-team invitational features Thorns FC, the U.S. Under-23 Women's National Team, Chicago Red Stars and Reign FC.

Playing all matches at Providence Park, Portland and Chicago will square off Sunday, March 29; kickoff is set for 5 p.m. (Pacific). Reign FC and the U.S. U-23 WNT will face each other in the opening match at 2:30 p.m. (Pacific). On Wednesday, April 1, Thorns FC play host to the U.S. U-23 WNT at 7:30 p.m. (Pacific), while the second day of games begins with Chicago taking on Reign FC at 5 p.m. (Pacific). Portland concludes the preseason tournament against Reign FC on Saturday, April 4, at 7:30 p.m. (Pacific), while Chicago and the U.S. U-23 WNT square off at 5 p.m. (Pacific).

Tickets for the tournament are included in Thorns FC Annual Memberships. Individual tickets, which allow entry to both matches each day, start at $8 and go on sale to the general public starting Thursday, Feb. 27, at 10 a.m. (Pacific) online at www.thornsfc.com. Full tournament ticket packages, starting at $15, also will be available for purchase online.

Saturday, April 4 - U.S. U-23 WNT vs. Chicago Red Stars at 5 p.m. (Pacific); Thorns FC vs. Reign FC at 7:30 p.m. (Pacific)
