Thorns FC Play to Scoreless Draw against OL Reign in Final Preliminary Round Match of 2020 NWSL Challenge Cup

HERRIMAN, Utah - Playing their final match of the preliminary round in the 2020 NWSL Challenge Cup presented by P&G and Secret, Portland Thorns FC battled to a scoreless draw against Cascadia-rival OL Reign at Zions Bank Stadium on Monday morning. Goalkeeper Bella Bixby earned her second shutout of the tournament, tallying three saves in the draw.

With the draw, Thorns FC will square off against the North Carolina Courage on Friday, July 17, at 9:30 a.m. (Pacific). Portland opened the tournament against North Carolina on June 27, falling 2-1 in the first match of the tournament.
