DES MOINES - Iowa Barnstormers wide receiver Marco Thomas has been nominated for the Arena Football League's 2014 Russell Athletic Offensive Player of the Year, the League announced today.

Thomas (6-0, 193, Western Illinois) played an outstanding season of arena football with the Iowa Barnstormers. Leading both the franchise and Arena Football League in the category of receiving, Thomas tallied 151 receptions for 1,946 yards and 39 touchdowns.

Fans will have 24 hours to vote for their player of choice.
