Street Hockey Tournament Coming July 11!

It's that time of year and the Silvertips are proud to announce that we're taking it outside again with our annual Street Hockey Tournament on Saturday, July 11! For the second straight year, the festivities are set to take place just blocks from XFINITY Arena at Clark Park in downtown Everett. The tournament features youth divisions and both competitive and recreational adult divisions along with food, music and all around fun in the summer sun! Now is the time to start recruiting your team of five to eight players: each team has four runners and a goaltender on the court at one time (no goalies in the adult recreational division). Cost is $22 per player through June 26 (increases to $27 on June 27) and includes a ticket to the Silvertips' 2015-16 WHL home opener at XFINITY Arena!

Juulsen headed to NHL Scouting Combine

Silvertips defenseman Noah Juulsen and other top draft-eligible NHL prospects are converging on Buffalo, New York this week to undergo a series of extensive fitness tests and interviews at the NHL Scouting Combine. The combine gives scouts & team executives one more in-depth look at players prior to the 2015 NHL Draft, which is set for June 26 & 27 in Sunrise, Florida (home of the Florida Panthers). Juulsen is ranked 22nd among all North American skaters heading into the draft after a breakout season and will use this last opportunity to up his draft stock prior to the big day later this month. Fellow defensemen Kevin Davis and Tristen Pfeifer also made the final draft rankings.

The Silvertips Team Store is offering 25% off EVERYTHING except jerseys from now until the end of next week - when the store shuts down until August for Summer inventory. The Team Store is closed today, but open again for regular hours Thursday and Friday and Tuesday-Friday of next week before closing for approximately seven weeks.
