The Chillicothe Paints will be taking on the Rockford RiverHawks this Friday, August 5th in a key game for both teams during the final weeks of the Frontier League season.
Great professional baseball, prizes, games and fun for all ages will take place during the evening as is always the case at a Paints' game. However, Friday's game will hold a very special added meaning in the 13-year history of the Chillicothe "Boys of Summer". It will mark the 1,000th game in Paints history!
To commemorate the special occasion, one lucky fan will win $1,000.00, courtesy of Pepsi, United State Enrichment Corporation, Budweiser and the Central Center Merchants.
Friday's game will start at 7:05 p.m. and the gates open at 5:35 p.m. Advance tickets can be purchased at the Paints' Gift Shop at 59 N. Paint St. in downtown Chillicothe between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, or by calling (740) 773-TEAM (8326).
