
Theo Peckham Assigned To Springfield

The Edmonton Oilers have assigned defenceman Theo Peckham to the Springfield Falcons of the American Hockey League.
Recalled from Springfield on emergency recall on March 6th, Peckham made his NHL debut with the Oilers in Edmonton's 2-1 overtime victory at Columbus on Friday, March 7th.
The 6'2", 223-pound native of Richmond Hill, Ontario played 13:22 in his NHL debut and registered his first career Oilers/NHL penalty with a first period interference minor. He also had one hit and two blocked shots.
Making his professional debut this season with Springfield, Peckham has scored 6-4-10 with 113 penalty minutes in 42 games with the Falcons. He is second on the Springfield roster in penalty minutes and has scored two powerplay goals.
