Joe Breen went 2-2 as the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs (6-9) took home an 8-5 victory over the Torrington Titans (9-8) at Doyle Field on Saturday.
He singled in the second inning and doubled in the seventh inning. Mike Lundin picked up the win for the Wachusett Dirt Dawgs. Lundin allowed one earned run, four hits and one walk while striking out five over seven innings of work.
It was a good day at the plate for the Torrington Titans' Mike Odenwaelder. Odenwaelder went 1-4, drove in one and scored one run. He homered in the second inning.
Mike Gibbons (1-2) took the loss for the Torrington Titans. He allowed six runs in five innings, walked one and struck out four.
