Southwest Michigan Devil Rays News Release
The Southwest Michigan Devil Rays begin their first four-game June home series from Thursday, June 9 until Sunday, June 12. This homestand is packed with new and exciting things as the team plays its last four home games of the first half. Six Devil Rays have been named to the Midwest League All-Star team and this is your last chance to see them before they head to Peoria, Ill. on Tuesday, June 21 for the All-Star game.
Devil Rays vs. West Michigan Whitecaps
THURSDAY, JUNE 9: 7:05 p.m -- Thirsty Thursday: Select pop and beer are $1 each until the end of the 7th inning. Maryz Eyez will perform after the game in the left-field bar area. This is the first night that live music will perform in C.O. Brown Stadium. Each Thursday night will feature a different band for the duration of the season. The night is sponsored by Super Rock 104.9.
FRIDAY, JUNE 10: 7:05 p.m. -- Guru/ Boy Scout Night. Guru the mascot will entertain fans during the game. Boy Scouts can spend a night at C.O. Brown Stadium. Call Robin Santiago at 660-2287 for more details. The night is sponsored by Hometown Gazette East.
SATURDAY, JUNE 11: 7:05 p.m. The first 500 fans through the gates will receive Thunder Styx courtesy of II Stanley. Sellout! This game has been officially sold out since Tuesday, June 7. There are scattered seats available in the Box Seat locations. The Family Fun Park is available all evening for fans to enter and play in. The cost is $1 for each attraction or $5 for an all-night pass. The night is sponsored by WRKR 107.7.
SUNDAY, JUNE 12: 2:05 p.m. Disciples Peak Christian Concert to follow game. Concert is free with purchase of a game ticket. It's also McCullough Family Chiropractic Family Sunday where kids 14-and-under can run the bases after the game. The day is presented by WKFR 103.3.
