ROCKFORD, Ill. - The Rockford IceHogs host the defending Calder Cup champion Grand Rapids Griffins on Friday night, followed by the first-ever matchup against the Hershey Bears on Sunday. Promotions include an IceHogs magnet schedule giveaway on Friday night, courtesy of American Solutions for Business, and Princess and Pirates Night on Sunday, sponsored by Treasures Galore.
Friday, Oct. 20 vs. Grand Rapids
Time: Puck drop is 7 p.m. Doors open at 6 p.m.
Magnet Schedule Giveaway: The first 2,500 fans at the BMO Harris Bank Center will receive a free 2017-18 IceHogs magnet schedule, courtesy of American Solutions for Business.
Blues Flame Lounge Pregame Party (presented by Vintage @ 501): Fans ages 21 and older can kick-off their weekend festivities with a Pregame Party at the Blues Flame Lounge, located on the BMO Harris Bank Center concourse. Friday's event begins with live music from Andrew Robinson at 5:15 p.m. and will also feature free appetizers and happy-hour specials.
NOTE: Guests must have a ticket to Friday's game to attend the Pregame Party. Those attending must enter the arena through the upper-concourse level entrance on Elm Street (near the Box Office).
Sunday, Oct. 22 vs. Hershey Bears
Time: Puck drop is 4 p.m. Doors open at 3 p.m.
Princess and Pirates Night: Fans are invited to dress as their favorite princess or pirate character, and the event will include special appearances by several princesses and Captain Jack, who will be on-hand to meet fans on the concourse throughout the afternoon's game. Fans can guarantee an opportunity to meet Captain Jack and the princesses by purchasing a meet-and-greet ticket package for only $25. Meet-and-Greet tickets can be purchased by calling (815) 986-6465 and also include a free tiara or toy sword and complimentary snacks and beverages during the event.
NOTE: Meet-and-greet packages are available for kids ages 14 and under, and must be purchased for each child attending the meet-and-greet event. Call (815) 986-6465 to purchase.
Kids Eat Free: Fans 14-and-under can enjoy a FREE hot dog, bag of Ole' Salty's chips and Pepsi product, courtesy of Ole Salty's. To enjoy the free meal, kids of the qualifying age will receive a voucher upon entering the BMO Harris Bank Center, which can be redeemed in the Kids Corner exclusive kids' concession stands.
NOTE: Food vouchers will be available until puck drop (4 p.m.), and can be redeemed until the end of the second intermission.
Postgame Photos with the Hogs: Those in attendance are invited to come onto the ice at the BMO Harris Bank Center following the game to take photos with their favorite IceHogs players. Skates are not allowed, and fans will need to provide their own camera. Those interested are asked to line up at the top of section 101 or VIP entrance in the lower lobby following the game.
