WATERTOWN, Mass. - The Boston Breakers are excited to announce that The Rising in Cambridge, Mass. will become the official supporters bar of the Boston Breakers.

The Rising, Inman Square's neighborhood sports bar and lounge with signature cocktails and exceptional food, will host viewing parties for all Boston Breakers away games as well as select U.S. Women's National Team games.

"We are delighted to be partnering with The Rising," Boston Breakers general manager Lee Billiard said. "Having a bar that fans, current and new, can call home base to watch our streamed away games together and mingle with our Breakers players for viewing events is a very important step in a new direction for us."

The first viewing party takes place this Wednesday, April 6, at 7 p.m. as the U.S. Women's National Team, featuring Breakers defender Whitney Engen, takes on Colombia. Breakers players will be in attendance.

The Boston Breakers open up the 2016 NWSL season on the road April 16 at the Washington Spirit before returning to Boston for their home opener on Sunday, April 24, against Seattle Reign FC. Tickets are on sale now at breakerstickets.com.
