The K-Tribe Starts a Seven Game Homestand This Friday!

Kinston, NC - The K-Tribe returns to Historic Grainger Stadium this Friday, May 15th for a seven game homestand against Baltimore Orioles affiliate Frederick and Washington Nationals affiliate Potomac. Crystal Coast Night, Adopt a Dog Day, EMS Appreciation Night, free baseball cards and Fireworks highlight the Homestand! After this homestand the K-Tribe plays 18 of their next 23 games on the road, so see the K-Tribe while you can!

The fun starts with Fireworks Friday May 15th against the Frederick Keys, game time 7pm. Friday is also Disabled American Veterans night, featuring a free, limited addition three player K-Tribe card set. Lonnie Chisenhall, Tim Fedroff and Kelvin De La Cruz are the featured players in the giveaway set.

The Saturday Night special features Freedom ENC night, look for coupons this week in the New Bern Sun Journal, Kinston Free Press, Jacksonville Daily News and other Freedom ENC Publications for a free general admission ticket to Saturday night's game ($1 upgrade for reserved seat tickets). Game time 7pm.

This Sunday is Lenoir SPCA and NCCAA Adopt a Dog Day! There will be a couple of All-Star pooches on hand to steal your hearts. Sunday is also 97.7 listener appreciation day; listen to 97.7 FM for your chance at free tickets. It is also Pepsi Family Fun Day, with pre-game autograph session starting at 1:15 pm and kids running the bases after the game. Game time 2 pm at Historic Grainger Stadium.

The beach heads west as Crystal Coast Night takes over Historic Grainger Stadium on Monday, May 18th! All Havelock and Crystal Coast residents get into the game for a reduced price and everyone enjoys Buck Night drink and food specials. Newport Mayor Derryl Garner will throw out the first pitch and Kinston infielder Lonnie Chisenhall's former Little League team will be the Field of Dreams team for the night! Game time 7pm against the Potomac Nationals!

Tuesday, May 19th is Lenoir Memorial Hospital Night. It is also $2 Tuesday with two dollar tickets, drinks and food. Game time 7pm.

Wednesday, May 20th is Marine Federal Credit Union Military Appreciation Night where Military (both active and retired) and their families get in for free. Game time 7pm.

The homestand ends on Thursday, May 21st. It is EMS Appreciation Night, where all EMS workers (including fire and rescue) get in for free and everybody enjoys Thirsty Thursday $1 Drink Specials.

Make sure you come and see the K-Tribe, after the homestand Kinston hits the road for 18 of their next 23 games! Reserved seat tickets are just $4 for students, seniors and the military.
