DIETZ BREAKS ARENA FOOTBALL RECORD... The Fire offense was red hot this past weekend and Fire QB Brett Dietz was an intricate part of the offense throwing 12 touchdown passes in the 86-66 victory. Dietz broke a six year old af2 record and set a record for af2 and the AFL for touchdown passes in a game. Dietz was also named af2 Schutt Offensive Player of the Week and aflnews.com Offensive Player of the Week. The 86 points scored was also a Fire team record for points scored in a game. NORTHEAST SWING CONTINUES... The Fire will head back to the northeast this weekend for a showdown with east division rival Manchester on Friday night at 7:30. The Fire lost to the Wolves 39-34 on April 14. The game can be heard on 1080-AM or louisvillefirefootball.com by clicking the TeamLine link. Look for a game preview on the website later this week.

NEXT HOME GAME... The Fire will be on the road for the next two weekends and have a bye Fourth of July weekend before returning home on July 8 for an ArenaCup rematch against the Memphis Xplorers at 7:00 in Freedom Hall. The first 900 fans will receive a bobblehead doll of Tony Cruise, WHAS 840 morning host. (A picture of the bobblehead can be seen at louisvillefirefootball.com.) The Indianapolis Colts will also be on hand with the Colts Caravan and the Colts cheerleaders will perform at halftime. Hwang's Martial Arts performance team will be putting on their exciting performance at halftime as well. It's not too late to reserve your group outing for the July 8 or July 15 home games.

FIRE, POLICE, EMS APPRECIATION NIGHT... The July 8 home game will also be Fire, Police and EMS appreciation night. All fire, police & EMS can show their badge at the Freedom Hall box office for buy one get one free tickets.
