Wolves find treasure in reading

The Manchester Wolves arenafootball2 team announced today that they are teaming up with Manchester's Westside City Library's "Treasure Reading" program this summer.

The Wolves will give any child who signs up for the program a FREE ticket to either their July 14th or July 28th game.

"I'm very excited to have such a high profile organization such as the Wolves associated with our program," said Kathy Urie, Head of Children's Services. " We appreciate the support and feel the partnership will go a long way to assisting our program and encouraging Manchester's youth to become more active readers."

Manchester Westside City Library's "Treasure Reading" program will start June 26th and run through August 4 th with an end of program celebration on August 10th. Children who read 10 or more books during the program will receive great awards such as free books, treasure box prizes, and much more!

"This is a very rewarding program to be associated with," said Wolves' General Manager Angelo Mazzella. "If we can encourage more kids to read by giving them a FREE ticket to one of our games, then that's great news."

The Wolves (5-6) will take on East Division Rival Louisville Fire (6-5) this Friday June 23, at 7:30 p.m. on Brady Sullivan Field at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, N.H. Every fan in attendance will receive a FREE Manchester Wolves "Not Your Typical Team Poster" presented by Citizens Bank. Fans will also be treated to a special performance by Recycled Percussion during halftime.
