FRIDAY, FRIDAY, FRIDAY... The Fire is home again Friday night against the Albany Conquest. The Fire is looking to bounce back from a 47-43 loss to Florida. We will be giving away adult t-shirts at Friday's game. Half-time will feature the Dog & Disc Show. There will be various characters from Star Wars on hand to meet and greet all Star Wars fans. Any military personnel can show their ID and get buy one get one free upper arena tickets at the box office.

FORNEY!!!! Fire do it all lineman Demetrius "the Freight Train" Forney broke Anthony Payton's record for most games played in as a member of the Fire on Saturday by playing in his 46th game.

SURE HANDS... Fire WR/LB Dennis Fryzel had a record tying night in Saturday's game by catching 14 passes, which ties a Fire record for most receptions in a game.

BRING OUT YOUR GROUP... Don't forget Fire home games are a great way to entertain employees or clients this summer. Group outings start at $10 a ticket on the upper sideline. To schedule your group for one of the remaining five home games call 368-0009.

IT'S BOCCE TIME... Once again the Fire is the presenting sponsor of the V Foundation Celebrity Bocce Tournament to benefit the V Foundation and Kosair Children's Hospital. The tournament will take place on Monday at the Belvedere starting at 11:00 A.M. Everyone is invited to come watch and cheer on Fire head coach Tommy Johnson, quarterback Matthew Sauk and lineman Demetrius "the Freight Train" Forney.

HEADING NORTH... Tony Stallings has been signed by the Calgary Stampeders of the Canadian Football League. Stallings will leave for Calgary on Friday morning and begin training camp next week. We will keep you updated on Tony's progress.

ON THE ROAD... The Fire will head back on the road next week to Quad City to battle the Steamwheelers on Saturday night at 8:30 P.M. at the Mark. The Fire will then head to Birmingham for a rematch with the Steeldogs on June 12. Both games can be heard on WKJK 1080-AM.

LISTEN UP... Every Tuesday on Xtra Sports 790 you can hear Louisville Fire Coaches Show from 5:00 – 6:00 P.M. with host Paul Wilman and Fire head coach Tommy Johnson. Each week Fire fans can call in and ask Coach Johnson questions pertaining to the team or comment on the season.

LET'S PARTY... The Fire also has birthday party packages available for all eight home games. Birthday packages include 12 tickets to the game, 12 hot dogs, 12 drinks, chips, a birthday cake and 30 tickets for the Meijer/Big Red Kids Zone activities for just $250. PLAYOFFS ... The ArenaBowl XIX Playoffs will get underway on Sunday on WAVE-3 at 3:30 P.M. as the Orlando Predators (10-6) battle the New York Dragons (10-6). The other playoff games this week will feature the defending champion San Jose Sabercats (9-7) at the Colorado Crush (10-6). The Chicago Rush (9-7) will visit the Los Angeles Avengers (10-6) and the Tampa Bay Storm (10-6) will head to Atlanta to battle the Georgia Force(11-5). The ArenaBowl XIX Playoffs will culminate on Sunday June 12 in Las Vegas with ArenaBowl XIX.
