SIX MORE PLAYERS JOIN THE FIRE... The Fire has been assigned six more players by the league office this week. The six players are Damien Dorsey, Alfonzo Browning, Anthony Payton, Derrick Shepard, James Scott and Sam Crenshaw.
AFL ON NBC... The AFL on NBC is being moved to Saturday this week because of NBC's coverage of Daytona 500. This week the Chicago Rush will take on the New York Dragons at 3:00 p.m. on WAVE-3.
FIRE SENDS ANOTHER ONE TO AFL... Fire OL/DL Tayshaun Winston has been signed to the Colorado Crush practice squad. Tayshuan is the third Fire player to join a practice squad joining Demont and Arkee.
GOOD LUCK... To Kammer Middle and Ballard High School's dance teams this weekend at Nationals in Orlando. Both teams are coached by Wildfire Ashley Sokoler.
DON'T FORGET... The 2004 schedule has been released. It is attached at the bottom of this week's Fire Wire. Take a look at the dates and be sure to get your season tickets if you haven't done so already.
THIS MONTH'S PRIZE IS the official pull-over for the Louisville Fire vs. All-Japan Samurai Warriors game. The pull-over will feature the both the Fire logo and the Samurai Warriors logo. The drawing will take place at the end of the month.
