The Famous San Diego Chicken Makes Corvallis Debut this Saturday

Make plans now to check out the most recognizable mascot in sports - the world famous San Diego Chicken - this Saturday at Goss Stadium. Gates open at 6 pm. First cluck is at 6:40 pm. Tickets are still available and can be purchased today from 10 am to 2 pm at the Knights' downtown office on 4th and Madison or at the ticket booth at tonight's game.

This evening is Olufson Designs Ladies Night presented by MOM Magazine. It should be a great Knight for the ladies, and the gentlemen. Come on out. First pitch is 6:40 pm.

Your Knights welcome the Kelowna Falcons to town.

Big West Freshman Pitcher of the Year Dylan Stuart of UC Riverside is the Knights' probable starting pitcher for tonight's series opener. Saturday night's probable starter is Chris Johnson of University of Portland and Jace Fry gets the start for Sunday's finale.

The surging Corvallis Knights were ranked #21 in a national poll rating summer collegiate baseball teams released this week by Perfect Game Crosschecker. The Knights have 5 of their last 6 and are currently in first place in the WCL West with a 19-13 record.

2009 West Coast League Pitcher of the Year Matt Andriese of the Eugene Emeralds came up to Corvallis on Tuesday to visit his brother David Andriese of the Knights.
