CHICAGO, IL - Chicago Fire Soccer and Bush's Beans tonight donated school supplies collected over the last several weeks through the Bush's Beans Back to School Drive to the Sandoval Elementary School of the Chicago Public School (CPS) system. These supplies come just in time for the start of the school year, which begins on Tuesday, September 8th for CPS.

The Fire and Bush's Beans collected all the basic supplies that kids need to start the school year off on the right foot, including backpacks, folders, notebooks, rulers, crayons, pencils, glue, scissors and other supplies. Katie Thomas, Regional Manager for Bush's Beans, presented Dr. Ana Espinoza, Principal of Sandoval, with supplies during a special halftime presentation at tonight's game.

"We are committed to the Chicago Public Schools' mission to not only boost attendance for the first day of school this year, but to provide all children with the tools they need to be successful throughout the school year. We are grateful to Bush's Beans for leading this drive with the Fire and look forward to helping with this great cause next year," said Chicago Fire President, Dave Greeley.
