The Story:
Wednesday will serve as the third time Pride faces Gotham in 2023 and the first of two contests this month, with the two set to square off once again on June 28 in Challenge Cup play.
The Pride enter the midweek looking to get off the schneid, having dropped their last two contests after going four matches unbeaten in regular season play through the month of May.
Gotham too is looking to get back into the win column on Wednesday, with a draw and a loss in their last two contests.
The New Jersey-based side sits atop the East Division of the competition with four points, while the Pride are looking for their first Challenge Cup win in 2023.
Quote of the Week:
"Obviously, [Gotham are] looking to win a game the same as us. Playing them a couple of times, they may change shape, they may change formation depending on the personnel they have, but we have to focus on ourselves. We're looking to bounce back from this weekend and get three points and keep and getting momentum and getting that ball rolling again. Momentum is such a key factor in a season so getting a win against Jersey will be great for the squad and the players."
