LOS ANGELES - In a Monday Night Futbol matchup, the Chicago Red Stars took down Angel City FC, 1-2, behind two goals from Ava Cook. Cook's two goals earned the second-year forward the first brace of her young career. The Red Stars return home to SeatGeek Stadium Saturday, June 10, when the club take on the North Carolina Courage and celebrate Pride Night. Tickets are available at chicagoredstars.com/tickets.

GAME NOTES:
Ava Cook scored her first career brace tonight. Cook is the fourth Red Star to score multiple goals in a half. She joins Sam Kerr, Yuki Nagasato and Christen Press as the only Red Stars to accomplish the feat.
With her appearance tonight, Casey Krueger becomes the latest Red Star to join the 100 regular-season appearances club. The Naperville native has made all 100 appearances with the Chicago Red Stars. Krueger is the sixth Red Stars player to play all 100 appearances with the club.
Julia Bianchi continues to grow more comfortable with the NWSL game. The midfielder ranked in the top five Red Stars players in recoveries (10), completed passes in the final third (8), completed passes (27), crosses attempted (5) and chances created (3).
