Texas Tycoons tops in scoring at the All-Star break

Dallas, TX - The Texas Tycoons of the American Basketball Association is the league leader in scoring. Averaging almost 130 points per game (129.82ppg) has Texas at #1 with the Arkansas Aeros (124.27ppg) at #2. The official rankings in scoring in the ABA at the all-star break are:

1. Texas Tycoons - 129.82

2. Arkansas Aeros - 124.27

3. Houston Takers - 119.88

4. Toledo - 119.20

5. Arkansas RiverCatz - 118.72

Four of the top five teams in scoring in the ABA this season play in the same White Conference - South division with Texas, Arkansas, and Houston at 1, 2, and 3.

Texas prepares to face the Waco Wranglers in a unique Fort Worth appearance this Friday night, February 2nd. The 730 tip-off will be the Dallas based Texas Tycoons first appearance in Fort Worth this season. Texas will be looking to equal the franchise record of 17 wins set during the 04/05 season. That season the Tycoons finished in second place in the division to the eventual league champion Arkansas Rimrockers. With the win, this year's Tycoons would move to 17-5 on the season. Texas will be led by All-Star Game slam dunk champion Donnie Beacham (6'5''-F-81, college: Texas Arlington ) who helps propel the leagues top scoring offense.
