Texas Summer League Approaching
June 12, 2013 - United League Baseball (ULB)
Fort Worth Cats News Release
The Texas Summer League will operate in the Dallas/ Ft. Worth Area from July 15th, 2013 through August 7th, 2013.
We will select the the top 5 or 10 players and place them on a professional baseball team for the last 2 weeks of the season. This is a great way to get started in professional baseball and a great investment.
Reminder: The Texas Summer League is the only league-sponsored summer developmental baseball league that can assure the players that are drafted that they will be added to one of the United League team rosters. Other independent leagues will be in attendance as well signing players for their respective leagues.
If you are ready to join the Texas Summer League and develop your skills to become a better player, and gain exposure to actual professional independent baseball league managers and coaches, then you can register on this page www.texaswinterleague.com.
Player stats will be provided by Pointstreak.com.
Fees:
Regular Registration - $2500
Local Player Registration - $1500 (players who do not need hotel and meals)
The summer league registration fee includes hotel, all meals, gym access, uniforms, bats, catcher's gear, professional stats from pointstreak and transportation to and from the stadium. Additionally, each player will receive hands-on instruction from professional managers and coaches. The TSL will provide on-site trainers and an accident injury policy on all players.
