Texas' Chad Woollard Wins "Oakley Three Stars" for February

March 1, 2011 - Central Hockey League (CHL) News Release


TEMPE, AZ (March 1, 2011) -Texas Brahmas forward Chad Woollard, Texas forward Greg Hogeboom and Allen forward Colton Yellow Horn have been named the "˜Oakley Three Stars' for the month of February/2011.

For winning the first star honors, Woollard will receive a pair of golf shoes from Oakley. Learn more about the wide range of Oakley products at www.oakley.com. Woollard was the third star of the month in January.

Players are awarded five points for first star recognition, three points for a second star nod and a single point for being named the third star of the game. Keep up with the season-long "˜Oakley Three Stars' point count on www.centralhockeyleague.com. Woollard currently leads the season standings with 61 points.

First Star - Chad Woollard, F, Texas Brahmas

Woollard earned 26 points in February consisting of three first star honors, three second star honors and two third star recognitions. The Brahmas sniper leads the league with 35 goals netting 13 of those in the month of February. Overall, his 70 points (35-35=70) rank in the league's top 10 in scoring.

Second Star - Greg Hogeboom, F, Texas Brahmas

Woollards teammate led all CHL players in February with 27 points (14-13') earning 23 star points (two first star, three second star and four third star honors). Hogeboom ranks sixth in the CHL in total points with 73 (32-41=73).

Third Star - Colton Yellow Horn, F, Allen Americans

Yellow Horn earned 22 points in February receiving three first star nods, two second star honors and was named the third star once. During the month, the Americans forward had nine goals with seven assists leading his team in scoring.
