March 1, 2011 - Central Hockey League (CHL) News Release

TEMPE, AZ (March 1, 2011) - The Central Hockey League announced today that Bloomington's Brad Phillips has been named the Oakley Central Hockey League Goaltender of the Week for the period ending February 27, 2011.

In recognition of his achievement, Phillips will receive a special gift from Oakley. To learn more about the wide range of Oakley products, visit www.oakley.com.

Phillips allowed four goals last week in his three wins stopping 83 of 87 shots (.954 save percentage). The PrairieThunder turned to Phillips for a heavier work load after an injury to Marco Emond and the Farmington Hills, Michigan native responded in fine fashion going 4-0-1 over that span. Last week, Phillips made 31 saves in a 3-2 win over Quad City, 29 saves in a 3-1 win at Dayton and 23 saves in a 4-1 win at Texas.
