NORTH CHARLESTON, SC – The Charleston Swamp Foxes arenafootball2 team will be extremely busy each and every Tuesday during the 2003 season. For the first time in team history, the Swamp Foxes will hold weekly media luncheons and also host a live on location radio show.

George's Sports Bar & Grill, located at 1300 Savannah Highway in West Ashley, hosted the Swamp Foxes' post-game party in 2002. This year, George's is the official media luncheon location for the Lowcountry's af2 affiliate.

Every Tuesday afternoon, Charleston's media members and fans alike will get the opportunity to enjoy George's food and drink while listening to head coach Rik Richards and select players. They will discuss the past week's events and preparations that are being made for the next exciting Arena Football match-up.

The media luncheon starts at 1:30 pm at George's Sports Bar & Grill.

The Swamp Foxes' will host a weekly, live on location radio show each Tuesday evening from Bobby Hartin's Sports Bar, located at 1124 Sam Rittenberg Blvd. in West Ashley. The show will run from 6:00 pm – 7:00 pm live on ESPN Radio, 1340 AM and will be hosted by the "Voice of the Swamp Foxes," Matt Dreyer. It will feature interviews with Rik Richards, players, and a Q&A session with fans in attendance and by call-in.

Swamp Fox players will be on-hand for the radio show as they will be eating dinner at Bobby Hartin's starting at 5:45 pm.

The 2003 season kicks off on Saturday, April 5 as the Swamp Foxes battle the Norfolk Nighthawks at 7:00 pm. The game can be heard locally on ESPN Radio, 1340 AM. The home opener for the 2003 year is slated for Saturday, April 26 as the Swamp Foxes host the Birmingham Steeldogs for the first time in team history.
