MOBILE, AL- John Hudgins allowed eight hits and six Tennessee runs and took his second straight loss for the BayBears. The Smokies had 11 hits in their 7-3 win Saturday at Hank Aaron Stadium. The two teams will play Sunday at 6:05, and both teams have won two of the previous four games. Drew Macias went 4-for-4 with four singles in the loss for Mobile.
Mobile took a lead in the second inning on a Chris O?Riordan RBI double. Tennessee then scored four times in the third inning, led by a three-run home run by Miguel Montero. Vincent Sinisi went 2-for-5 out of the leadoff spot for Mobile. Ross Ohlendorf was the winning pitcher for Tennessee, going six innings, allowing three hits.
The BayBears and Smokies will play Saturday at 6:05. Jose Oyervidez (2-5) will pitch against Tennessee?s Matt Chico (1-1). All BayBears games can be heard on 1480 AM WABB, Comcast Cable Channel 18, and on the internet via mobilebaybears.com.
