Teddy Dupay returns to Lightning

Rockford, IL-Pending league approval, the Lightning are proud to announce the return of Teddy Dupay to Rockford.

The 5-11 guard from Florida last played for the Lightning in the 2002-03 season. In nine games with the Bolts, Dupay averaged 15.6 points per game and hauled down 38 rebounds. He also had a triple-double and was named "CBA Player of the Week" during his stint in Rockford. "Teddy gives us a great outside threat, and he's someone who understands the CBA game," said Lightning Head Coach Chris Daleo. Dupay also played 10 games with the Yakima Sun Kings during the 2003-04 CBA season.

"It's great to have ‘Teddy Ballgame' back in a Lightning uniform. He plays so hard and with such emotion. Our fans really love him," says Lightning Head Coach Chris Daleo.

Veteran's Camp begins on November 4th, and runs until November 17th. The Bolts' first game of the 2004-05 season is on Saturday, November 20 at Gary. The home opener for the Lightning is the following day, November 21st against the Steelheads at 5:05 at the Rockford MetroCentre.
