Macon Trax News Release

[Macon Ga.] – The Macon Trax are bringing back one of the greatest Middle Georgia hockey traditions. The "Teddy Bear Toss" returns to the Centreplex on Saturday, December 13.

All fans that come to the game versus the Orlando Seals are asked to bring a new teddy bear to help benefit "Kids Yule Love". Any fan that bears a bear, will receive one dollar off any seat in the Centreplex.

The "Teddy Bear Toss" is easy, so all ages can participate. When the Trax score their first goal of the night, all bear-toting fans in attendance are asked to toss their stuffed animal on the ice. All the great gifts will be collected and delivered to Kids Yule Love, to help benefit underprivileged children in Middle Georgia.

In years past, thousands of bears have been collected and donated to Kids Yule Love each holiday season. The Trax also invite all fans visiting from Orlando to participate in this special event in support of their Seals.

Tickets for the game can be purchased by stopping in the Trax office located at the Macon Centreplex. Tickets can also be ordered over the phone with a credit card by calling 478-742-4849.

Day of game tickets will also be available with the one dollar discount. Fans will be asked to bear their bear at the Macon Centreplex box office for the ticket special.

The Trax start a six-game home stand this Friday, December 5. There are plenty of chances to see the Trax on home ice in December, as they have one Thursday, three Friday, and two Saturday home games this month. Visit www.macontrax.com for a full schedule.
