
Teat and Hawksbee Named to 2009 Western Division All-Star Roster

EDMONTON, AB - The Edmonton Rush announced today that forward Dan Teat and defenseman, Ian Hawksbee have been named to the 2009 Western Division All-Star Team. A total of 36 players will participate in the All-Star Game which will be played at the Pepsi Center in Denver on Saturday, March 7th.
Teat was voted to the western division starting line-up earlier this week as determined by votes from the league's general managers, media, and fans. Teat leads the Rush in points with 33 including 17 goals and 16 assists. The 37-year-old native of Brampton, Ontario also sits third in the league in goals scored and tenth in the league in overall points.
Hawksbee is 2nd in the Rush in loose balls with 66 and will make his first All-Star Game appearance. The 25-year-old Vancouver, BC resident sits eighth in the league with loose balls.
