GREENVILLE, S.C. (January 3, 2003) - With seven games slated over the next two days, a trio of National Basketball Development League teams made roster moves on Friday, according to an announcement by NBDL Executive Director Karl Hicks.

The Greenville Groove welcomed back a familiar face, 2002 NBDL Defensive Player of the Year Jeff Myers. The 6-foot-2, 196-pound guard out of Drexel ('97) helped lead Greenville to an NBDL Championship last season, averaging 10.0 points, 4.4 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game. His 2.11 steals per game helped earn him the award as the league's best defensive player.

Myers was one of just two NBDL players to record over 100 steals (118) and notched at least one steal in 50 of 56 games. He is expected to be in uniform tonight when the Groove hosts Huntsville and will wear jersey number 24.

Mobile is bringing in former Cleveland Cavaliers and Golden State Warriors forward Cedric Henderson. The Memphis ('97) product has played in 260 career NBA games, starting 136. The 6-7, 225-pound forward has posted career NBA averages of 7.3 points and 2.9 rebounds per game.

A second-round selection (45th overall) in the 1997 NBA Draft by the Cavaliers, Henderson is the only player in Memphis history to finish his career ranked in the school's top 10 in scoring (1,697) steals (175) and blocked shots (114). Henderson will wear jersey number 45 for the Revelers.

Looking for an inside player who can also run the floor, the Columbus Riverdragons are bringing in post player Shawn Igo. A 6-10, 225-pound product of Rice ('97), Igo began the season with the Greenville Groove before being released on Dec. 23.

Igo averaged 5.1 points and 4.7 rebounds in 14 games for the Groove. He is expected to be in uniform Saturday when the Riverdragons host Huntsville. Igo will wear jersey number 44.
