
Tampa Yankees Postpone Game vs. Lakeland

Tampa, Fla. - Tonight's game, vs. the Lakeland Flying Tigers, has been postponed due to heavy rain and the forecast of rain to continue throughout the night. There will be a doubleheader scheduled for Wednesday, August 19th when the two teams meet again at George M. Steinbrenner Field. The first game will start at 5:00PM (gates open at 4:00PM). The second game is scheduled to start 30 minutes after the end of the first game. Both games will be seven inning contests.
Every Wednesday home game, kids (ages 14 and younger) get a free hot dog, Cracker Jack and soda or juice with the purchase of a reserved ticket ($5).
Tickets from tonight's rainout can be redeemed at the George M. Steinbrenner Field box office, for any remaining Tampa Yankees' regular season home game.
